Each component of the SMX-6 V2, CE certified, has been carefully designed to offer pilots an important performance advantage underneath protective innovations, improved ergonomics and maximum comfort. • New design boot with innovations in the front area, in the heel and in the rear bellows for greater flexibility. Microfibre upper to improve strength and abrasion resistance. • Ergonomic finish on the forefoot for better control over the controls of the bike and to provide comfort and fit to fit a wider range of foot profiles. • Innovative TPU reinforcement on the ankle side to provide biomechanical support in the lateral area between the calf and the tibia and improved structural integrity, as well as protection against impacts, repeated abrasion resistance and flexural support. • Air intakes on the heel and tibial plate, plus breathable mesh inserts (ventilated version only) to improve comfort and reduce fatigue in laps on any distance. • Shin guards, calf, heel, change area, ankle and fingers injected in high quality TPU to improve impact protection and strength. • Double density ankle protection on the medial side layered under the upper to provide protection in the critical area. • Integrated and replaceable bi-injected TPU slider with new screw mounting for easier and faster replacement. • Innovative flexible bellows zone on Achilles tendon and arch of the foot to improve comfort, control, support and flexibility in extension. • Internal insole with integrated reinforcement plate to support the arch of the foot and protect the foot itself. • Opening / closing in medial area with elastic mounting zip with wide Velcro closure to improve fit and flexibility. Increased opening to facilitate the fit. • Inner fingers protection layered under the upper to improve strength, feeling and performance. • Interior in breathable fabric with non-slip suede reinforcements on the heel to keep the foot in place while driving. • New detachable anatomic insole made of EVA and Lycra to improve comfort and support. • New exclusive sole mixes to improve feeling, grip, strength and water dispersion. • The SMX-6 V2 Boot is CE certified.
